It all started with one question

It all started with a phone call from an old friend I hadn’t spoken to in years since moving from Latvia to Finland. During our conversation, he mentioned the Nordic countries and asked a simple, curious question:

“Do you have any houses with grass on the roof? How does the grass even get there?”

That question stuck in my mind. I started researching more about how to grow grass and vegetation on slopes, roofs, and large areas. The more I learned, the more hydroseeding became a fascinating method for me — an effective, sustainable method that was perfectly suited to Nordic conditions.

And so FOUR Hydroseeding was born.

Based on one question and a little curiosity, the idea to bring greener, faster, and smarter seeding solutions to Finland and beyond was born.
